The Lumilux group: A Portrait in Success
The Lumilux group has the ability not only to maintain but to increase and create a market share in our territory. Lumilux is an energetic company, which officially began in 1988 under the leadership of Gilles Séguin. Mr. Séguin’s extensive experience in the consulting engineering field, as well as with local lighting manufacturers and agents, gave him all the skills he needed to identify a market and fill the market needs. The leadership of the company comes from Mr. Séguin as well, he handpicked his staff. Each one of them is an expert in his or her respective field.

Phil Courtland brings to Lumilux his twenty years plus of experience with local distributors in retail and wholesale operations, which give him a solid grounding in order to develop the inside operations at Lumilux. Mr. Courtland controls the Ontario in house projects, as well as the street lighting quotations.

Dan Madore was brought on board to the team at Lumilux in 1993, and brought with him twenty-four years of invaluable distributor experience. While Mr. Madore works closely with Quebec quotations, he also uses his particular skills and background to bring specialty services to Lumilux’s contractor and distributor customer base.

Jean-Simon Danis will be taking care of distributor support, municipal development and specifications for the Quebec (Outaouais) and the east Ontario Region.

Francois Bertrand is the newest addition to our Ontario sales force. He will be acting as distributor support, municipal development and specifications.

Yves Renaud was drafted by Lumilux in 1996. He brought with him eleven years of experience broadening Lumilux scope with his expertise in lamps, ballast and controls, along with inside sales, Mr. Renaud also provides Ontario quotations, department.

Eric Séguin is the newest addition to our quotation team. Mr. Seguin will be another tool for our Ontario & Quebec tender quotations.

Raymond Pelchat is the newest addition to our group as for technical support. He will be involved in providing drawings and photometric lighting studies His proficiency with CAD and his experience in environmental design makes him a valuable asset to our well rounded group.

Arlene Rennie brings with her many years of experience in the electrical distribution and distributor inside sales. Her knowledge of computers and tech is a valuable asset. She will provide services in administration and project coordination.

Jacques Desaulmiers has been with the company since its debut, taking care of accounting.
